At Portus we are always keen to provide our clients with relevant up-to-date information that will help them make informed decisions. To this end we have teamed up with HR in Law and/or law firms to produce Employee Benefit research data specifically focused on the legal sector. These include: The Law Firm Employee Benefit Survey, Flexible Working Survey and Flexible Benefits Survey.

Survey of Employees' Needs and Perceptions of Employee Benefits

Many law firms, particularly the Legal 100, have recognised that if their employee benefit budget is to be most effectively implemented, they need to understand the needs and perceptions of their employees. The advantage of using an outside agency is that employees are guaranteed confidentiality and therefore provide honest responses! In turn, the firm is provided with a truer picture of the extent their staff value (and understand) their benefits and where greatest value can be added moving forward.

Employee Benefit Focus Group for Law Firms

Working in conjunction with HR in Law, Portus has now set up an Employee Benefit focus group. You do not have to be a Portus client to join this group and it is run strictly on ‘Chatham House’ rules basis, ensuring total confidentiality to all participants. This provides not only a great knowledge base for Employee Benefit information, but is also a melting pot for new ideas and an indispensible forum for exploring current issues and how to tackle them. The format offers a great support network.
