Marketing Director

Sue has worked as part of Stuart Gray’s original team since 1999. Sue heads up the marketing team promoting Portus to clients, new business prospects, and professional associations.

Sue is a firm believer that at the centre of good marketing is truly understanding clients’ needs and has established and co-ordinated various channels to achieve this including: surveys, focus groups, seminars and brain storming meetings.

In recent years Sue has worked closely with HR in Law, undertaking market research to provide law firms with benchmark information relating to their employee benefit provision.

This research has now been further extended to assist individual firms seeking to understand their employees’ needs and perception of their employee benefits.

Sue started her working life with American Express and Trailfinders in London. After completing an MSc at Strathclyde University Sue became Marketing Manager at the Smallpeice Trust. Sue has also lectured in Marketing.

Sue lives in Leamington Spa, is married to Jonathan and has two daughters. She is a keen walker and loves to spend time in the Lakeland Fells. She is also a dab hand at house renovation.
